Do you want CPU-Z in the background for all the 3dmark screenies? obviously cant do this with aquamark though.
Got myself a cheap PCI graphics card so that I can get the system setup and ready for the impending arrival of the competition specimen.
Got my card this morning, ill start playing round with it 2morro. It looks uber weak but that means theres more chance to push it to it's limits!
With everything at stock using Newest Nvidia nForce platform drivers(5.10) and Ati's Drivers(6-3_xp-2k_dd_30895) im getting: Gpu Stock Speed: Core:324, Mem:196 Cpu Stock Speed+ Superpi Score: Ill prob start doing some round benchning 2nite but no records.... The card seems fine, but i got a weird prob of not being able to set my screen rez at 85Hz...or higher? im at my defult 1024X768 but it says 85Hz but its clearly 70+Hz weird
Ok so im currently doing some rough clocking using standard cooling but with good airflow.....and let me say this. OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my card pushes 100Mhz+ on the core OC!!!!! and its still going!
Just to go on the record that I will be competing in the Air Cooling category - PMed Highland3r to this effect although first post states 0? Will 3Dmark03 run in windows 2000? or will I have to change to a windows Xp install - I normally only benchmark 01 before you ask.
Indeed, max of the cards we've tested is 250-260 on stock volts. Seen a little higher on some of the modded cards though

Yes i was just doing that....with all stock cooling i found the mem to clock up to 255mhz...but it wasnt the max tho. And yeah these cards seem really bandwith starved...but yeah these clock nicely...even on stock cooling.
would i be in the other catagory if i use a tec ?? i might just remove the tec off the maze 4 and stay in the water catagory if the tec puts me in other ? ? morgan.
Anyone else having problems getting Aquamark3 to run? Windows 2k system with SP4 and all updates except latest windows media player. Downloaded AM3 from both Guru3D and Extremeoverclocking and after installation I get an error and it will not run - doing my head in. Just installed directX9.c and it works.
You can start submitted stock benchies from today. ORB compares and screenshots (with CPU-z and Pi for the 3dmarks please, it won't be possible with AM3 however but the CPU score will be sufficient validation there) Remember, stock GFX (use driver default settings) and overclocked system. We're looking for CPU-z and Pi shots which show the same (or very similar) times between the "stock gfx" and "overclocked" GFX submissions. Either post the links/screenies in this thread, or drop me a PM with links. All the screenshots will be uploaded to a single point, so anyone is free to scan through them. If anyone needs hosting for images, drop me a PM will setup an FTP account for you. Likewise if theres any issues with ORB compares just shout. I'd ask people to add a link to a sponsor in their ORB compares too, if you link the sponsor of the category you're in that'd be great. Just as a thankyou to them for putting up some awsome prizes. If anyone cant make the 7 day window, please let me know ASAP.
