    Hello,

I recently upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit and I have noticed that my Q6600 is sitting at the stock speeds in CPU-Z...then all of a sudden the multiplier drops from X9 to X6 and goes back and forth between these.

I recently overclocked it to 3.4GHz using the guide in CustomPC last month and it worked fine and this was under Windows Vista Ultimate 64bit

Now when I try and overclock it, it either goes to the correct speed and then drops down again due to the X6 multiplier or it just refuses to boot.

    Anything I should be doing?

    Cheers :thumb:

Have you checked the Power Saving option with Win 7's control panel?

All corect drivers Installed? Cleared CMOS and re-applied overclocks?
