I don't understand your logic cderalow; you have a prometeia, but it sits idle... no point talking about it unless you're going to action it.

I have to ask, are you deliberately trying to destroy this thread because your colaborated benchmark thread didn't hit off?!?! You still haven't answered my questions in that thread - stop trying to destroy a thread that, up until this point has been a perfectly good thread; I don't expect to have to tell you again after this.

Now... lets get back on topic... :sigh:

Sorry to go offtopic, but I have a quick problem.

I checked manufacturer's listing (Kingston) and checked BIOS, and couldn't find some of the things. Also, I had changed the FSB back to 133 (I had set it to 150 for o/c-ing), I tried changing it back to 150 and kept getting that fsckin error noise from the mobo. Any suggestions?

I'm using the computer right now. After I powered off and on again, I was automaticly sent into BIOS and changed back to normal settings

Oh oh.... what's the mad scientist planning now? Not content with clocking that mobile barton to already insane speeds...

That poor chip.... what did it ever do to you? :D

YOu reckon there's more to be had from that chip then?

He's welcome to dump it in my trash if he doesn't want to use it. A nice promise controller, some phase cooling... 290FSB... bye bye 32 seconds...

Grrr.... How can I convince all concerned parties that spending so much money is a really great idea.... think man think... :wallbash:

Theres another 2 or 3 seconds in her. Trying to finance a DFI Infinity at the moment and then we'll see what she does when she gets a bit cold :brrr:

I'm hoping for 2800Mhz at some rediculous fsb in the region of 250-260 or higher ;)

Are you investing in some sort of phase cooling (ie prommie/vapochill or similar)??!

league table updated with the cooling for each processor as well, or at least the cooling that was listed here.
i assumed that many that werent listed were stock cooling but didnt put it in unless it was explicitly stated

so in future lets try to post the cooling as well :thumb:

Shweet, BTW cooling on my 2500+ @ 2113mhz = stock cooler (my basement is always like 55F year round, so my temps (cpu) = 20-25C idle, 30-40C max load (using cpu burn-in)

I might try getting 44-46 seconds later... after I get done with this window mod (Completely from scratch, no kit or anything ;)) and painting (Painting with that sweet fleck stone paint ;))

Looking forward to see some nice numbers from you :)

I might be able to get down to 31s, but that is hard...
