I recently acquired an open box Intel DP55WG LGA 1156 motherboard for almost nothing.

I am considering the G6950 2.8GHz for a budget build. I would like to achieve the 4GHz obtained by bit-tech with this processor and the Gigabyte GA-H55M-UD2H motherboard.

Anyone have experience overclocking with an Intel motheroard? How do they compare with Gigabyte or ASUS?

What settings are available in the BIOS?

The VRM design is extremely basic, you won't be able to up the voltage that heavily, but there's no reason the chip still can't scale quite well :)

I don't think you can overclock on Intel boards, I didn't think Intel built it into the BIOS? I could be badly wrong, though.

What options are available in the BIOS?

    EDIT: Bindi you Ninja, you!
