Graphics overclocking

    hey all, as u know i have to get my 6800ultra repaired or replaced or w/e goes on at evga

    well i will have to use my old pcx 5750 :waah:

    i snapped of the heat sink and put some artic silve 5 on it

    how can i overclock it with cool bits so i can get some better preformace while im wating for my 6800?

    Erm...are you just simply asking how to overclock it? Install Coolbits (registry hack) and slide the timings sliders as far as you can until instability is reached.....

    Artifacts etc...

    Q#1: The video output on your screen will flicker, show white "specs" all over the place, or your PC will simply freeze or reboot. Once you notice that the system is acting unusual then you know you have overclocked TOO FAR and you should bump the clock frequency back down a bit (5MHz), reboot, and run your game/benchmark again to check for stability.


    Q#2: I'm not an eVGA tech or anything but I would go ahead and count on atleast 1-2 months. Fixing damaged hardware takes awhile and you are talking about a model which is in extremely high demand.
