My lads been complaining about his driving game pc being slow and crashing, I'd checked it and found the front fan was stalling on boot so I moved it from the pump splitter to the other fan header and that fixed it.

I felt the pump and I could feel some vibration so assumed it was working.

He tried to play again tonight and it just kept shutting down on him, felt the pump and it was well hot.

Changed the pump power to a molex to fan convertor and as soon as I powered up the pc I could hear whooshing and gurgling as the pump fired up

All's well again, I've never had a fan header fail like this before.
