Xbox 360 Overlord on X360

I'm stuck on the second sea serpeant, in the basement of the cathedral. Any ideas how to defeat it? It's by the wheel that I need to turn

 

Oh that took me ages to do, couldn't think of a quick way to kill him, what I did was I sweeped about 8 blues down there, theres a little strip of land to the left of the wheel platform, sweep your blues onto there and then quickly back, the serpent will strike and miss, you can then sweep your blues to attack him, call them back when he moves and repeat. Took me ages to do that one.

Those dodo thingies are there for a reason I rekon though, might be able to steal an egg, put it next to the serpent to distract it while you turn the wheel, but killing it allows you to get some treasure I think (either a spell or money if I remember right).

 

I did it eventually using the second way. I'm up to the dwarves now, they're bloody annoying, RPGs!

 

At that point I think I gave up on the variants and stuck a huge group of badass browns. Although it didn't go too well at some points, but against the regulars it worked fine. Greens are also awesome, but they are a bit too low on the old health, very good against large slow creatures though.

 

So far loving this game, I have 48 minions now with the best armour and a sword, just need the helmet but short on funds as I bought everything for my castle.

Just got to the Desert so im asuming that there is not much left to do in the game. I have been playing as a good overlord and then will play again as and evil overlord when completed.

have found all the bosses alittle too easy and disapointing. For example the Dwarf, you hit him at the side of his flamethrowing tank and he does not move and then dies in seconds.

Overall its good fun and hope to finish it soon. Will explore the desert part tomorrow.

 

I finished it, downloaded a trainer, and now I can play with 300 minions at one time. Lots of fun

 

Played it once normally, replaying now as full corruption, then I'll do it 0%

Lags a bit when sweeping, but a lot of fun

 

Thats a glitch, but yeah, the bosses aren't too hard, better than being too challenging IMO.

 

The thing is that the bosses are fun. Final boss was very fun.

Rocking the tower achievement though, that is pure Genius! I swear Will Wright had a hand in this.
