A belgium online shop (and lots of others as well I noticed, after some google'ing) carries these "Ozaki" speakers. 2.1 and 5.1, all nicely styled and promising spec sheet for good price, but I don't know them at all and I haven't heard anything of them. Does anyone knows anything about this manufacturer? Anyone heard them in real life? How good are they compared to creative's speakers? Specs don't appear too bad (when comparing to similar sets of speakers, those aimed at PC use, rather than dedicated home cinema with separate AV amps and seriously expensive speakers and subwoofers....). Not heard of the brand name at all though, I'd recommend giving them a listen before you take the plunge and by some, as with speakers its all very subjective and anyone can create things that look nice, or have good specs, but sound is more important than appearance and specifications can be easily manipulated (Creative sometimes quote power ratings for their speaker sets that are higher than the rating marked in the back of the driver in the speaker cabinets, so what does that tell you....the power ratings cannot be accurate and are exaggerated). I have seen lots of speakers that promise much on paper but sadly do not live up to their specifications and sound pretty poor Try and visit a PC fair and find a set you can demo....
we got this brand at work, not the same set, but there cheaper 2.1 5.1 speakers. i would say they are alright for the noobs and people that want "just" sound. but theses ones are new to me so... but they look good and specs are ok. good luck
