    The 172. Oktoberfest has begun today at 12:00 (GMT+1) with the traditional O'Zapft. The Mayor Munich, Christian Ude opened the first barrel of Oktoberfest beer with only two hits on the tap (a new record!).

    Damn, I really wish I was home and not at uni... So if you're traveling to Germany any time in the next couple of weeks be sure to stop by the Oktoberfest!
