High I was wondering if anyone had experiance with a P6X58D-E motherboard and what drivers they use. I'm using a Samsung 1tb F3. I've just changed over to AHCI settings and performance seems a bit eratic. I've tried the latest drivers from ASUS's official site and from http://www.station-drivers.com/page/marvell.htm Any help would be appriciated.

Ok just updated to the drivers shown on this page:

How do you updated the bios of the Mavell Chip? I don't have a floppy drive.

The BIOS gets updated with the motherboard firmware.

Pro tip: Marvell's 6G/SATA III drivers are junk. You are better off using the standard msahci drivers.

That said, why are you using the SATA III ports with a Samsung F3? You will get better performance from the standard Intel ICH10 SATA II ports for HDDs.
