Bit late posting this, what with the drunken debauchery that was Bit-Brother 2003 - but better late than never. 8Balls have got piccies of a water-cooled Packard Hell:

What's this? A prepackaged watercooled PC? I thought we decided they were never going to take off.

This isn't the only mainstream H2O cooling system in the works - NEC are monkeying around with water cooling for laptops

So yes, you lot where wrong! :p ;)

    Here here!
People have enough problems keeping their system clean so they dont' have to take it in to best buy every 8 months so they can pay $80 for a format  The last thing they need is to worry about keeping their water system clean and flowing...

I do think that a watercooling system is rather high maintenance for the plebians but the attitude of keeping it 'underground' is stupid - it is something which could benefit a vast amount of people and should be available to those who wish to try it. It being in a prebuilt only makes this technology easier to access for those who may otherwise not have heard of it and still have enough knowledge and common sense to maintain it.

At the end of the day, if they don't...It's their fault.

Although the resellers may make a killing from monthly 'servicing' from the guy who'd only get it for pub bragging rights.

I don't mind too much, progress means that it was only a matter of time. I work in support, so i can get fat off the profits when people let there systems run dry!!! :naughty:
