Yeah I'm afraid to get hit in the hand, head and the :eeek:.

Going to have to make sure there is a tree covering the important bits when shooting.

Airsoft > Paintball any day, dont get me wrong an occasional speedball match is fun but defiantly Airsoft is a better and more fun as an all around sport.

From what your saying (just you and your friend) getting a decent pair of gas hand guns would be a good match, KWA G18C's and KWA M11A1's both can be picked up for $135-$150 from good online dealers (AEX)

The only bad thing about Airsoft IMO is you can never have to many guns :D :D :D [IMG]

And those are just what I have here at my place tonight, both my TM Knight's SR-16 and TM Cyber AUG are on lone to friends as well as a few gas hand guns.

Ok first off, there are some comments I need to draw attention to:

Yes you do. If you spend 200 on a Spyder Xtra you get a blowback gun that is completely manual. If you spend 800 on a Bushmaster or Timmy you get an electronic gun that can fire much faster and more reliable than the Spyder Xtra (or comparable 200 gun)

Maybe I'm just used to it, but paintball doesn't hurt for more than 5 seconds. Maybe its all the tourney's I've played in (bunkering teaches you the maning of "point blank") or maybe its just the sheer number of years I've played, but paintball hurts about the same as airsofting.

For good clean fun, airsofting is a good alternative to paintball. IMO paintballing is never going to be overtaken by Airsoft only b/c its MUCH more intense and much faster paced.

As for the cheating thing, I don't like games where I don't see the evidence of my hit. If you're complaining about wiping, then the refs at the fields should be fired. I reffed for 3 years and it really takes a good ref to catch all of it.

Lastly: paintball has a very close knit community. Aside from all the 12 year olds who have their parents buy them $1000 guns, the people who honestly love the game are what makes the game worth playing.

    My thoughts:

About the pain: It should hurt, you're getting 'shot' afterall.

    AIRSOFT
+ There are some really, and I mean, really nice guns. I love the blowback guns that look and move like a real gun. This is to me, the biggest advantage in airsoft.
    + Cheap ammo
+ You can play everywhere, without leaving to clear marks that u've been playing.
+ You can practice in your garden.
    - You can't see for sure if you hit a person or not.

    PAINTBALL
+ Leaves a lovely mark of paint
    - Expensive ammo
    - Can only play in dedicated places, wich you have to rent and are expensive. (I don't know for everywhere, but here you do)
    - Messy clothes (paint)
    - Where you fire, you leave a lot of paint-mess.

But you can't really compare them. I see paintball as a more professional sport then airsoft. But Never played either for them for real. So what do I know.
    But its just my thoughts.

Could someone post up some links for good online Airsoft websites?

    Thanks :D :D

The P90 is a great little gun very easy to use and handle.

the other gun is a KSC Glock 18C with metal slide, full upgraded internals, scope mount with cheap red-dot and dual 49 round mags. It is my favorite CQB weapon.
