Modding Painted Xbox. Pics Included

Here is one of my Xbox's I Decided to Paint Today. I went to the the Auto Store & baught some Engine Enamel with Ceramic. Here are the Pics below of my Plain Black Xbox & my New Painted Xbox

 

Can I take your old X-Box of your hands?

 

Wish i could but its Sold already how do you think it looks with the green button alot of ppl are telling me to get rid of it

 

I think you should use red LEDs and chrome that ugly green X-Box orb on the top

 

it looks like x-men, i like it

where did you sell it? and how much did they pay?

it would be nice if you could take that green circle away

 

I sold it for $75 Buck to a friend of mine. Id like to take that green button off but its not easy to get off. i think i might just paint it completely white. the button that is

 

that looks cool! How did the engine enamel work on it? did it bond ok?
yeah, and loose the green thing, i bet it would look alot better

 

yeah it bonded awesome i did 2 coats of primer then 3 coats of the Enamel its nice & shiney since it has ceramic in it. Im not going to lose the Green Button since its a pain the the arse to get out... Plus it doesnt look that bad with it. Im still gonna get more mods. such as lights & a few more Paint Details but other then that ill be done with it soon

 

Actually, it's not that hard to remove the green bit... have a look on XBox-Scene for several tutorials on how to do it.

 

Try this site for XBox Emblems ( Jewels ) , they have different designs & finishes ( Etched , Mirrored , Clear , UV , Etc ) http://www.xport1.com

 

it looks like an iBox
the green looks ok, but I think a apple logo would look better , lol
or perhaps the xbox logo but in blue?? ..

Nice job with the paint job, how did you outline it so well with the grated plastic on the rest of the case?

 

Very nice. A defniate improvement over the standard one.

A chrome jewel in the top would look very cool

 

Painters Tape & alot of time.... im not done yet i had to do some cleaning up on it & im FInishing up the Controller & the Front Ports as we Speak.



The Jewel I guess will have to stay right now because I dont have a Heat Gun or even a Blow Dryer. But soon I will get that sucker off so i can Change it
