Has anyone painted an inverter for a cathode before, and can share some tips? I know these things can cause some problems, I don't really wanna screw anything up.

I suppose Vinyl Dye would be better to use yes? Is it worth painting/dying it, are there any risk?

    Cheers

As long as you take the plastic shell off of the inverter and then paint that seperately from the actual pcb inside, you should be fine.

I would say that as long as you don't dip it in paint or use conductive paint, you can very well paint it without taking it apart.
