Are there any special precautions I need to take for painting the inside of my case?

Also, if I just have plain metal (I'm making the case myself) should I do anything to the metal? I know that I need to polish it - something that I don't know how to do yet but will have some of my friends help me out with - but do I need to put a clearcoat on it afterwards or anything?

    Thnx.

I'm sure you could use the same technique as this person. if you use the wax then you won't have to worry about some messy sticky clear coat. I bet it would work well and look great for a long time.
I'm actually thinking about doing it with one of my mini towers.

What if I don't have access to a dremel? What other alternative tools could I use?

you can use basicly anything you want heck you *could* do it by hand it you wanted, would just a long time, other machines, you can use a dril with the right attachment, it chouldn't matter what tool you use as long as you got a polishing attachment you will be fine, cause with that you can use so many different tools but if you don't have a Dremel i'de suggeust using a drill

I just peeled the stickers off of a hd yesterday, I took some citrus solvent to get the glue off and then polished it by hand, it already shines like a mirror and I haven't even waxed it yet or used a dremil.
