SketchUp painting parts

    okay
    im having a hard time getting a piece of plexiglass to be clear instead of blue
    is there anyway to fix that?
    and how do you paint parts to make them look like black metal
    apparently there is something that im missing
    anyone have any links for me?
    or a tutorial?
    any help is greatly appreciated

    In the materials panel, under the Edit tab, move the color wheel to the center (white) and the opacity to 0.

    For the metal, go the metal (whatever one you want), under the Edit tab, and move the color wheel to the center and move the slider bar to the bottom to get black
