Hey I am going to be doing a project soon, and I'm going to paint the case. The colour I am going for is a ash sort of colour not glossy but flat sort of if you know what I mean. Question is, I want to use a clearcoat on top of it for protecting it, making it durable etc. But I don't want it to be glossy, will the clearcoat make it glossy if the paint is not a glossy paint? If so, is there any other way to make it durable and not be glossy? Thanks
You can buy clearcote that doesn't have a glossy look, you can even buy ultra-flat that will dull the look even more, if you want.
