Hey, having problems getting mine working! heres a screen shot of about the best ive got There is no colour its just a sort of khaki dark green with different speed of scrolling lines. I have it on 720x568 (or what ever) as it is a Pal screen. If i disconnect the c-sync nothing changes from the screen shot you can see that there are mouse trails on the screen but no desktop image. I have the DCC pin and all the other pins correct and i have tested each of the pins on a oscilloscope Any ideas????? Im going mad lol i really want it for a carputer Im using the Matrox Mystique 220 4meg PCI card is that right? it does have c-sync option thanks!
Tried that different lines still no pic! will play around with it more in powerstrip I have wired it for composite too and that works really nicely
Has to be powerstrip settings then. That VGA connection can be very temperamental... I'd fire up Google. It is a common problem and a rash all over a range of forums and websites...
Hey, Im wondering why some people plug in the lcd and instantly get a picture of the desktop which is scrolling or in 4. I can see how using powerstrip could adjust this to centre the pic / stop it scrolling. However i seem not to get and colour or picture to work with?????
I think you have colour, but the picture is scrolling too fast so it all looks washed out. What are your powerstrip settings?
i think the pal version is still 640x480. i hope so cause mine is coming aprt soon. what is supposed to be on that screen btw? is it desktop or is it displaying a jpg? smithm5 used a three colour circle pic to test the screen as his looked like it was doing a similar thing. its somewhere in the forumns how he fixed his, he did have radeon though
Im using the standard windows desktop with the hills and the clouds Im gonna play around more with powerstrip in 640 x 480 today didnt get chance yesterday. I have slowed the scrolling right down but the colours still dont seem to come like i said ill have go later plus ill post my powerstrip settings which gives me the best "picture"
Hey, I hold my head in shame I soldered the pins wrong on the gfx card I warmed up the oscillorscope again and I had solder it all backwards! Havent got time to fix it now im off to work but will post pics later Cheers for your help. Steven Richardson - Aka Veryevil (Verydumb at the min)
