Couldn't have put it any better. I think they know it's rubbish too otherwise why put that much effort in to a video when these things should essentially sell themselves?

 

I run a bike shop, we have this available for most accessories - bottle cages, bartape, you name it. Prices for this effect start at £1.

 

But it's a bike. That moves. In different lighting conditions depending on weather and the time.

For a bike it's pretty cool.

For a GPU that may look poo brown from the seat at which you sit? No.

 

Would a moving light source effect the colour ?

Maybe there's a mini disco ball to follow on, after they've created a poo brown gap in the market...

I use a windowless case so, silly paint won't sell a GPU to me.

Ready availability at MSRP or lower, might do though.

I'm in no hurry, my GTX1070ti is more than adequate at the moment.

 

Yes, I'm amused at how well my 1070 continues to hold up. Sure, I can't just dial everything up to max and expect a high framerate, but I got used to tweaking settings minutely when I was gaming at 5760x1200 on a GTX680.

Doesn't mean I don't regret at least a little not buying a 3090 when they were actually (semi) reasonable around last Christmas. What put me off was that I basically would have had to replace the entire system as the case and PSU were no where near up to the task of a 3090...

 

Who cares about features like this as I think people just want to get their hands on a card and do it at a reasonable price. MSRP is bs and even at that many times the price is too high. Hopefully a crash comes soon for all that is gaming to wake these companies up. If it happened before it can happen again. Let us get back to what card prices were like before the Nvidia RTX 2000 series.

 

Palit... aren't these the same people who claimed GPUs lose 10% performance each year? Yeah, that was pretty quickly proven to be BS.
