Modding Panel Meters

    I have a few 12v panel meteres from a car, both for the fuel, i printed out faceplates for them to say HDD Activity and 12V
    how do i hook the HDD activity meter up so it would work?

    bah

    the lights that show hdd activity are 3.3v and i dont know how you could increase that... :( sorry.

    3.3v...really? can u back that up with any URL's? cuz i have a bl00 led in there and it works the same i think, but if its 3.3v then im disconnecting it from the mobo and hooking it up to a 5v feed so i can get maximum brightness baybee

    i think....

    i think it is 3.3 volts, but i know that there are 5.5v connections in there, thanks to my trusty multimeter, youd just have to switch where your plug goes in.

    Circuit time! wouldnt those panels run off 12v Dc anyhow?
    did that make sense?
