Electronics parallel LCD help...

    set it to a range good for mesuring 5v, and test your pins on your computer, hopefully they won't be damaged.

    As for the LCD, if after wiring it correctly now, it still dosen't work with only those 3 wires connected, its probably dead.

    if its dead... will i be able to take it back and either get a replacment or my money back.... sadly i dont have the box for it but i believe i have the reciept some where...

    no, you broke it.

    Its only a £10 to replace thing, so just put that in the "learning experiances" box.

    damn :( oh well theres another £10 down the drain... if my parallel port aint busted i might just buy a pre made one for £20... 4X20 this time...

    you can always buy parrallel port replicators for like £10
