What watches do they use and do they know what 24hours mean.

Nothing worse than relying on parcelforce. You take a day off thinking that a parcel will arrive, so you make all these plans and nothing comes of it. You go online and do a track on it to see that's is a guaranteed 24hours delivery. Of which you also see it is out in the vehicle for delivery at 05h00. Idiots, unreliable idiots.

I assume they could still arrive? The 24h could be from when they were sent, which would probably be at the end of the day? (so they've got until the end of today?)

Surely the person who sent it should get some compensation as they are selling a product or should I say a service.

Could be worse - City Link :wallbash: It could have been installed in a Citylink worker's home PC by now ;) would have looked nice next to my dyson hand held vacuum cleaner - the one that "disappeared" :grr:

Ah City Link. Those who argued the village in which I lived didn't exist, after calling me on my home 'phone at my house in the village... They're not the greatest!

    I am currently trialing UPS.

Used them myself about half a dozen times with no problems.

Dropped a 2.4Kg parcel off at a collection point ( a local Spar) the other day, recipient got the item by midday the next day all for £7.50.

Would have been double through parcelforce and I doubt it would have been there next day!

Well let's see if it arrives today and trust the driver will hear from me and I've sent a snotty email to their deaf ears.

These 2 entries indicate a problem in the depot.
