I am looking for a little advise on how to set up some kind of parental controls. My daughter has just turned 8 and is wanting to get a laptop for christmas. I'm looking to basically keep her safe from the less savoury elements of the internet, my wife would also like to do some snooping/ monitoring. Currently we have a family desktop plugged into the the virgin media hub and 2 phones and a laptop connected wirelessly. Ideally we would also need some way for the laptop to avoid the restrictions due to the nature of my wifes work requiring searching some unpleasant content. Thanks
