this is a tough one for me, i currentlu use the standard windows password to enter xp, however whilst i am working i like to get up and do other things, which leaves my computer open to people in the area.

Also if i set the machine to do a heavy render, or stress analysis on complex geometry this can take time and id rather people not try to use my machine.

so i ask you guys, is there a pasword app out there which i can get and use to lock the machine whilst its crunching numbers.....

Press Windows key & 'L' - use your normal password to get back in.

No, It just locks the workstation. One handy tip learnt from office work!
