Is there anything you haven't done?

Have you ever run a bicycle shop for example?

A long life and an open mind. Not all were pleasant and yes some were very short. Also, several of them were at the same time. 2 or 3 small incomes is WAY better than no income. Summer jobs, jobs during high school, jobs while laid off from construction. Money is to be made if you go for it.

Part time draftsman "modernizing" hand drawn documents. Laid off for summer and never called back in the fall. A few months pay goes a long way for a high school student!

    Raking hay/picking weeds and a draftsman/engineers apprentice/office assistant/bolt counter/quoting prices for customers/working in the plant making what I drew/deconstruction/sealing windows/cutting and moving stock

Unfortunately that second job got bought by a large company, they hired someone who did half my job and paid them 4x as much because I was still a student.

    Jobs

    Swimming Pool and Gym assistant
    Basic personal trainer
    Bar staff
Construction (Don't tell the tax man kind)
    Grounds maintenance
Photographic Teacher (whilst at college, yes I am that awesome)

Head of Design at a small medical firm (Industrial placement at Uni, again freakin awesome)

Head Industrial Designer at a large Chemical firm that supplies the medical and clean room industries

    Born 1987

Plan to better John achievements in life

    Qualifications:

BSc Degree in Product Design 2:2

    A-level Product Design Grade C
    A-level Photography Grade D
    AS-level Physics Grade E

Summary, Qualifications can mean absolutely nothing but knowledge means everything, read to understand, not just for the sake of reading. So throw that fiction to the side and pick up something you'll learn!

I Suck at exam pressure, always have, most likely always will, but if you show the people in your future job interviews your true talents then you may as well bin your qualifications.

    Paid summer jobs:

Carrot picker (Lasted 3 days. They pay was absolutely rotten, even for a kid, and the conditions wasn't worth it)
Painter (Who hasn't painted during their summer vacation..?)
    Brick layer (Two projects)

Other than that I'm a handyman when people need one. (Electrical work, carpentry, fixing cars, plumbing and so on)

Now I'm a IT tech. Certified on several brands of notebooks and some desktops.
That's my official title, at least. The last couple of years I have been working mainly on logistics to our subcontractors. The job isn't all that exciting, but it pays the bills. I do have some great colleagues, which make the work bearable. Strangers probably think that the people at my department is a bit messed up, but at least we have fun. :)

I have no idea what i want to do in the future. I'm in no hurry as I have a safe job at the moment.

Oh, just give him some time.... ;)
