Just looked at screenshots, looks like a diablo 2 clone, though I have no clue how well it actually plays. I'll keep an eye on this and check out some videos. From that tweet that you showed, it seems like they have good community support and are getting them involved, which in my books is pretty great, not enough companies let their players really contribute and be involved with the game.

I have been playing this on and off for a few months. To be honest I find it a bit slow and a bit too easy. The regenerating mana and health bottles seem to provide what is essentially an infinite life. I do die occasionally, but that's just when I have got a little bored and become a bit reckless.

The graphics are very nice, although I find the main character a little large - there is something about the proportions that aren't quite right - I can't really put my finger on what it is though. The sound is marvellous though and adds a lot of atmosphere.

The skills tree is 'crazy big' though - and should give plenty of scope for a lot of unique characters. Having said that I seem to spam the same 'spells' over and over - as the mana regenerates there seems little point in not spamming them.

Inventory management is a pain though - the inventory seems small compared to the amount of drops there are. In the beginning I spent an awful lot of time comparing stuff and dropping stuff. Now I don't really bother picking anything up at all as the gear I have had for ages seems to kill stuff anyway. I liked the idea in Torchlight where you could send your pet back to sell stuff - took a lot of drudgery out of Inventory Management. I would like to be able to use my pet kiwi in the same way - as otherwise the pet is just cosmetic.

Although I think it is more interesting than Diablo 3, at least the latter had a sense of pace, where PoE seems a bit slow and ploddy.
