I'm just starting building my first pc and are unsure which motherboard would be best. The spec so far is: xigmatek utgard with 6 case fans corsair tx750w i7 2600 (to be ordered) 500gb 7200rpm seagate hdd optical drive nvidia 460 (to be ordered) akasa viper cpu cooler 8gb ddr3 1600 kingston hyperX (to be ordered) As the graphics card is likely to arrive a little later than the other components, I would quite like the motherboard to have some sort of moniter output so I can get it properly set up. I am not that bothered about overclocking or sli/crossfire. So, a good, reasonably priced 1155 motherboard that will forfill all of the requirements above. Thanks guys
Heres a list: http://www.scan.co.uk/Shop/Computer-Hardware/All/Motherboards-Intel/Socket-1155-Intel-H67/Socket-1155-Intel-P67 I personnally would go for a Gigabyte motherboard, with 6gbps sata and USB3 for if you ever want USB3 or a 6gpbs harddrive in the future. Other than that just go for one in your price range if youre not bothered for overclocking. Why does the motherboard need to have a monitor output?? You've got a Nvidia 460 for that.
....because the 460 wont arrive for a little while as I ordered it from the us. Thanks for your help anyways, I may well go for a gigabyte.
