    If you're speccing for a good case PLUS a good PSU, then you're gonna have to save on the processor, unfortunately.

    TBH, if he wants to be doing his CAD work on that machine, his budget should be at least doubled, but w/e :p

    It's a CM PSU, they're fine especially for the price. It's not the most efficient PSU in the world but it's not going to blow up like some random CiT unit.

    ive used the coolermaster 400W, 500W and 460Ws version over the last several years.

    not a single one has failed
