    Erm no.
YOU spec the PC and THEN ask for advice on the bits you've chosen.

If anyone specs a PC for this guy I'll hurt them with a bread roll and a roll of toilet paper :p

If you give a budget we could suggest what parts would be suitable, but a lot of the choices come down to personal choice.

I doubt anyone would go to the trouble of speccing an entire rig for him

    Oh be quiet.

Dell make perfectly good computers that are great solutions for probably at least 99% of people looking to buy a PC.

Geez guys you don't have to flame him that bad. He asked nicely.

TC, if you include a budget and what you want to use the PC for im sure someone will come along and suggest some stuff.

I wasnt flaming I was piss taking :) I can't flame, all my posts are awesomely right as an uberific moderator /pulls own plonker.

Um, basically READ the other threads that people have made recently with what they've wanted and what people recommend. It's not hard.

You'd be much better off researching bits yourself, asking if its all ok, and then understanding the changes.

At least you know where the cash is going, and what your buying that way.

If you look at the other posts where people have asked for help with their rig (which you should have searched for or seen a few threads down from this one), then you'd notice that they got some helpful advice because they had already worked on looking up a parts list.

If you don't put any effort into writing it, don't expect people to put any into their response. You didn't even specify a budget...

What's your budget? It all comes doen to budget. I will recommend a Core 2 Duo system, and that's about all I can say other than to buy the best and most expensive stuff you can and are willing to afford.

Gigabyte DS3, E6300 or E6400 along with some decent COMPATIBLE Ram will not disappoint. The rest is up to you.

Ok, Im sorry for the attitude, What i really meant was if anyone could maybe just suggest some parts that you have used that you would definitley suggest to someone else. Like for example a few people said to go with a Core 2 Duo System so i will. I trust you guys and I will take your opinions and use them. Im sorry for the attitude and hope you guys can accept the apology, im just not having a good week. BTW i can spend around $1000.

I just did a quick cart on tiger direct, i hope you can view it. It probably is a bad choice in parts but i need to save money, I think my parents will pitch on on some of this too so. Plus im selling my other pc's before i do this build. Check it out.

well that helps... while findme is loading the webpage he remembers that its in a cart link and only you can see ( unless you go newegg and make it a public wishlist) to be a cart link that only people on your computer see.

if your too lazy to list the parts then we are too lazy to check it for you.
i dont see a core 2 build that is 1000 bucks without killing the build. im just gonna write an easy list ( that i know of )

e6400,7600gt , one of them antec 500w psus maybe with modular cabling, p180B case, one of them cheap core 2 mobo's ( they have a lot of em on newegg last time i checked), 512 mb ram ( if you have enough money hit 1gb or 2gb)

do ya need a monitor? one of them 19' inchies would do quite fine, widescreen looks much better when playing games and movies on.

    gg
