Why would you buy that when the AX850 is more capable and slightly cheaper?

Just because it's 850W that doesn't mean it's constantly drawing that amount of power! :D

It'll only use what's needed for your computers components and the Corsair AX series are very well regarded as they are efficient. You might even make an energy saving going for the AX850 in comparison to the Antec!

All the PSU's are good. That seasonic one is the one I would go for though, followed by the corsair.

I'd save the money and go for this corsair yes. Its a good PSU and will handle your requirements. If cost isn't an issue thats another matter...bit-tech's recent labs test may help your decision...they recently reviewed a lot of PSUs and they rated the Antec as their top choice (Antec High Current Pro HCP-750), but that isn't to say there aren't other good ones out there, I myself went for a slightly older but still great Antec Truepower 650 Modular.

Hope that Labs test gives you a better idea and helps your decision.

They may be out of stock, but its your best for the Antec at Scan for £130.

You can run that setup on a 500w PSU, i dont see why everyone is recommending a 850w one.

You could but whats the point when go could get more wattage so it doesn't have to run at full load when gaming.

The optimum is to get within the 70-80% load level where most PSU's are the most effective.
