    Hi all,

I am having a cracking idea about a wicked new mod which I am considering...

However, I am completely stumped as to what could be effected/would need to be done to get it to work.

    1) If I had a stylish Audio CD unit, how complex would it be to swap out the laser etc. and backing tech to replace it with the mechanism to read a PC DVD? I.e. with the gubbins from a DVD-ROM?

    2) If I have a coo idea for a mod which I'm never gonna be technical enough to do, would it be worth passing the info on?

    Cheers,

    Javen

Too much inspiration, not enough time, money or skillz...

I have many cool ideas, which I'll never get to see the light of day :sigh:

If you have a good idea that you cant do for any reason but youd like to see it done then why not share it. Thats what the modding comunity is about imo.

Still someone else will think of the same thing eventually so you sould just wait until it happens.

Having thought about it, I believe I may well be able to implement this mod after all :)

I'm gonna give it a shot, but will be back soon for help,
