    Just got my Ci5 2500k today $179.99. Now all i need is my graphics card and my 24" monitor! i hope the boot up doesnt give me any trouble :)

    You guys seem to know your stuff, please analyse my new rig, any comments are welcome, positive or negative =).

    269€ - Intel i7-2600k
    210€ - MSI Z68A-GD80
    46€ - Corsair vengeance cmz8gx3m2a1600c9
    56€ - coolermaster centurion 5 II
    150€ - coolermaster silent pro m100
    244€ - oczssdpx-1rvd0120 (SSD pci-e)
    310€ - MSI Twin Frozr III PE/OC (totally lost on GFX, the GFX market is a right mess).

    looks good to me mate. dont really see a problem with it at all.

    Good processor; good motherboard; should have got low profile Vengeance RAM because most 3rd party heatsinks for your CPU will bump into them; case is a little cheap considering the price of the rest of your components; if that is a 1000W PSU then that is twice as much as you need; PCI-E SSDs I know nothing about; good graphics card (6950?).

    It should run very fast your new computer, for a very long time :)


    EDIT: just read in another thread that there can be issues booting from PCI-E SSDs. Might want to check into that unless you're using another drive as your OS drive.

    I will look into the booting problems on the SSDs. Also the other remarks are helpfull.

    just put it all together, looks like everything is running properly.

    It's the 4 drives that are concerning me really. What do you all reckon?
