o my god are you that busy so it takes you nearly half a year to make a guide. There is new hardware out there you know?

The buyers guide was one of the reasons I started reading Bit-Tech. Come on guys!

It has been a long time, probably owing to the structural changes at Bit-Tech. I'm guessing they will be working on another one now, but it may not make sense until Kepler lands in a few weeks time.

I'm wondering if they'd still recomment the 64GB Crucial M4 over the 60GB OCZ Vertex 3 now that the latter is actually a couple of quid cheaper (at least on Scan). Same for the 128GB M4 / 120GB Vertex 3.

Can anyone recommend any other guides as good as Bit-tech's? I haven't been able to find any and I really want to build a new PC this month.

I really like, and look forward to, the PC builders guides on Bit-Tech, and have turned many on to them ... I would hope that they do not abandon them
    ... waiting ...

Please tell me they'll be a guide for March. :p Also, I noticed they changed it from "PC Hardware Buyer's Guide September" to just "PC Hardware Buyer's Guide" on the main page - hopefully that doesn't mean it won't be updated for a while.

Can anyone recommend another guide? I can't find any other good ones.

Agreed. I'm really surprised they let that part of the website go down.

If doing it monthly is too time-consuming, why not do it quarterly?

I don't understand why the site does not simply post a message about their intentions. Why go for months and months without a word ? Why have message after message asking when the next guide is coming out ? Why change the wording to suggest it's now a monthly guide and not update it at all ?

Just post what the story is and end all the questions and speculation !

Maybe it keeps the hits up for the site, only reason I drop by is to look at these monthly guides tbh :p

if they can't be bothered to fix this:
    http://www.bit-tech.net/latestissue/
and its now on issue 103 (i have 102, although i had to go buy my 100/101 from the physical stores here because of Subscription.co.uk messing up again)... i think there may be serious trouble afoot. and to think i spent $140 of my amazon money to renew.

Wow , 6 months and not a single word about the guide from you.

    Disipointing to say the least

BTW .... is it too soon to call this Bit-Tech's version of HL3 ?

Damn good article, and spot on timely - I'm also waiting with bated breath to see what AMD has in store for us with Bulldozer. Hopefully something truly astonishing, otherwise they might look pretty silly if all the hype turns out to be false...

I'm just another person who found Bit-Tech because of the monthly guides. I miss them and would love to see them appearing regularly again.
