Hi all, I have nearly completed my PC desk mod now, its inspired by the other great desk mods I have seen on here but its made to my own style. I have to confess I did not build the actual 'shell' of the unit myself, I dont have the required skills for that! Anyway a little about the desk, its not made from metal, rather wood. In fact its 18mm high gloss black MDF, the sort you use in kitchens, it goes very well with the colour scheme in my room, orange black and green. Ok so some plans First up a basic look at the desk Specs of the system going in I7 2600k Asus HD 6990 Asus Maximus 4 Extreme P67 8GB corsair dominator GT 1866 2x 360 rads Corsair HX1050w PSU 120GB OCZ agility 3 EK waterblocks, all nickel plexi - Full cover mobo, CPU, RAM and GPU blocks. Aquacomputer aqua tube res Xigmatek Crystal fans, 120mm and 140mm green LED ones. My aim is to not see any cables apart from those that cant be hidden completely such as those powering the GPU. I posted here as its not really a project log, I hope thats ok. I have more images uploading and will add them soon
Ok now some images. Motherboard tray installed Reservoir installed. I have a UV led in the back and a fill port coming out the back of the desk so I can top up the water without removing the glass. Cutouts for temp displays in progress Started routing some cables under the mobo tray, also cleaned some dust up
Ok guys, got some more images now. (sticky pad on order to keep the pump in place) Still loads more to be done but im happy with the look and feel of it so far
