Ok here is the start of my pc mod, stealth CD rom drives. I have no physical way of ejecting but found a pretty easy to use exe file. Enables you to crate a shor cut to it with the options.. open D: and close D: in the shortcut. eg: C:\WINDOWS\system32\cdtray.exe open D: (i put it in the "C:\WINDOWS\system32" folder). http://www.unrealdesigns.org/~files/cdtray.exe and here are some pics, i hope you will agree its not too bad: shot of the quick launch i got set up Andy

Looks good but What about when you need to reformat and need to open it in the setup/dos? I think you should add a manual way too. Just in case.
JUst hot wire a switch internally. Mount it on a drive rail or something. All you would need is wire, momentary switch and a way to mount it.
