My computer just started acting very strange. Now, the power button does not work. The only way to actually get the thing to turn on is to remove the PSU wire from the MOBO and then plug it back in. When I do this, the computer instantly turns on. It will even turn on if I unplug the power switch. Has anyone had this problem before?

    Sounds like a faulty PSU.
Have you tried shorting the PWR pins at your mobo with a screwdriver and see if it starts up?

Have you tried unplugging the PSU, pressign the power button once and then replugging in the PSU and pwering on. It wourk for me on one dodgy setup (suspected mobo trouble)

Herdkilling - The PSU is not an issue as it does work in other computers. Shorting the two pins does no good but thanks for the idea.

Risky - I just tried that, no luck. Thanks tho
