I have the MSI 7950 and it overclocks well past 1100Mhz. I'll echo about not getting an XFX. higher RMA and not great support by the sounds of. MSI turnaround for a RMA is also much quicker. Looks like the MSI 7950 is out of stock due to a new revision coming out (according to the Overclockers website). Makes sense as they were selling off the MSI's cheaper the other week. Edit. Be careful about new revisions as some cards (gigabyte) are having their voltage locked, preventing higher overclocks.
The newer boards are coming with the chips from TSMC(?) I think - that's why there have been stock shortages (or so I've been led to believe)
