This is my first post so I hope it is allowed.

Would just like to find out roughly how much the following pc would be worth:

    Q6600
    Samsung 24"
    4Gig DDR2-800
    MSI Platinum Mobo
    XFX Geforce FTX260
    500Gig HDD

Let's say the parts are all close to, if not already, 1 year old.

If any more info that would determine the prices, pls say so.

look on newegg and check what the prices are on those parts, then subtract about 10% or so for them being about a year old.

10% off compared to new? Good luck trying to sell that.

That's well-used hardware almost out of warranty for barely any cheaper than new. By the time you could find a buyer for that much, it will lose any remaining warranty AND depriciate so much that you'll have to decrease the price anyways and you'll just end up wasting time. I'd say current price minus 30-40%

    thanx for replies so far.

@Dragunov yep, well awared of those facts and that is why I had to come seek advice, as the price asked for it just seemed a tad bit rediculous.

the only part which seems to have little to none depreciating value in there, is the Samsung 24" which still seems to go for quite a price.

I'd say about £500 at most... I'd be after about £350 if I went to sell mine w/out the monitor (and they're not too different in price)

Have you thought about selling the parts separately? You might find that people will pay more for the individual components that they want than for an entire system, esp since people can get a bit carried away on auction sites.

/would take the 260 off your hands if the price is good

For the lot I wouldnt pay more than £350. However there could be a lot of small thing that might help.
    What case is it in?
    Is an o/s licence included?
What cooler is on your quad?
    What stepping is the quad?
Has the cpu or gpu been overclocked?
    If so, by how much?
And pictures always help when trying to sell.

Why do you ask? I see one person has already made an offer for one of your components, so I wonder if this thread should be moved to the "Marketplace" forums? I see that you only have 2 posts and joined this month. Is there still a minimum requirement to see the For Sale forums?
