    i need help!

i just swapped my game pc into a new case, the pc-a05nb.
i also swapped in a new psu, the quattro 1000w.
the reason for the whole swap in the first place was because my previous psu had died.
and i wanted a smaller case, so i did that at the same time.

i start my pc. she won't boot into windows.
    she blue screens.
i got into safe mode once.
rebooted and did a disk error check.

well. now she won't boot at all.
the motherboard led is on. so she is getting power.

i don't know what else to do...
    also.
my pc specs are in my sig. if needed info.

    thanks. in advance.

won't get to the bios. no hdd spin up. no mobo beeps. and no monitor brief light up.

unfortunately i am thinking dead motherboard.
...but the led on the board lights up.

You've probably damaged the Mobo during transfer, do you have a heavy CPU cooler w/o backplate, or anything else heavy attached to your mobo, did you ground yourself properly before touching the motherboard and avoid capacitors etc... and did you set it down in a safe place when you weren't holding it, also check that its not making contact with the metal of the case...

no. the computer would boot up.
begin loading windows, then blue screen.
i got into windows safe mode once.
i thought it would be a disk problem...
restarted to do a disk check.
now the computer won't boot at all.
    just mobo led is on.

i have a true heatsink. so, yes large and heavy.
but i removed it before i removed the motherboard from the case.
i grounded myself with the cases. i literally went one case to the other.
the motherboard doesn't appear to be in contact with any metal of the case.

When PSU departed to better life it probably damaged one of the components; usually is this the motherboard; maybe GPU.

Try the GPU on some other PC.
    Swap DDR to exclude it.
Then try loading from another HDD; you'll see what bios says.

The only thing left then is motherboard.

    just did...
pulled the jumper. placed on clear pins. pressed power button.
    replaced jumper on regular pins.
    still nothing.

no change. computer won't even 'attempt' to boot.
no spinning fans. no hdd spin up. nothing.
it is like i never depressed the power button.

As I said it's probably motherboard.
    (probably amounts to 99% probability)

    alright...
so i need a new motherboard.

    what should i do?
    buy another DFI P45-T2RS Plus?
perhaps even send my current one back to reseller in place of new board as DOA..?
wrong yes...but would greatly assist my small wallet.
    or
should i 'upgrade' to another board?
    perhaps one with ddr3 memory?

IMo it does sound like mobo.

If the other board is under warranty you couls always try that. Failing that it all depends on how deep is your pocket, you could just get a new mobo.
If you go for a DDR3 model you probably would need to do a CPU upgrade as well and all 3 would set you back some serious dosh.
