PCI-E x1 compatible with PCI-E x4?

    yes, PCI-Express is fully flexible like that... if you wanted, you could install the network card in the X16 slot. :thumb:

    Thanks Tim. That is what I thought. I was put off when the mobo manual said that the PCI-E x16 is only for PCI-E x16 graphics cards.

    Bought and installed. Very Easy. Yes, I can say that PCI-E x4 is 100% compatible with PCI-E x1. (At least for the stated board.)
