Can i use a PCI Express X16 Flexi Riser Card (like this) with a powerfull video card like nvidia 260GTX? Does the 16x pci-express riser card affects in any way the performance and/or stability of the video card?

That's an interesting question, and I'd like an aswer aswell.

It could possibly have some effect on stability if the riser is bad quality.

Maybe somebody has tried and will provide an answer?

I didn't actually know the answer to this, so I was just lurking to see what someone else came up with. But now that I've read that other thread, I'm reminded that PCI-E is largely based on Infiniband anyway. Infiniband works (at least) over 15m with copper cabling.. So the answer that it should be fine isn't particularly surprising. :)
