PC power and Cooling? Half the geeks on here won't have ever heard of them, but they are brilliant PSU's. Just not common, 'cos they're overkill for pretty much anything any of would be doing.

Indeed the best you can get. If you're after silence tho don't bother.
Other than that, you'll probably never want to go back to another supply again ;)

Yeah, noise is really the only thing "wrong" with them as such, and it's far outweighed by the awesomeness of them as PSUs. :D

mine arrived today. and other than the fact i cant get to the 12v pot to adjust it, its like \ rather than _ in the case, so the screwdriver cant turn it,

But noise wise it dosnt seem that loud, i havnt herd a increse since i swaped them out, so ill see how it goes :)

Edit been in bf2 for 4 hours and when i came out u can deffinalty hear it as a whirring sound. hum tempted to swap it out for a paspst 80mm fan dunno if thats wise through,

PCP&C are the Rolls Royce of PSUs. Superior in almost every way (bar pricing and noise). Well worth the premium over other PSUs.

Fan swapping isn't the best idea in a PCP&C; their specs are based off of the stock fan. All it effectively means is that a quieter fan won't give you that 510w continuous potentially, but being realistic you'd have to have an INSANE rig to hit even 400w. Insane meaning something like dual dual-core opterons, SLI 6800Us (only because 7-series use less power), a pair of DVD burners, RAID0 74gb raptors for booting, four or six large storage drives and at least two gigs of ram. In which case you'd honestly be crazy to not spend at LEAST $150 on a quality PSU as it would be something around $4000 by a rough estimate (about $2000 just on procs and board)

it swapped the fan out for a papst i had laying in a box, and tbh it seems to put out the same amout of air as the delta did when i put my hand over the bk. its thermaly controled so the delta never realy hit full speed, i might but the delta back in, i just giving this fan a test run
