    ok i know a lot of us own pda's now so people that owd pda's should talk and discuse software and hardware (not really that much hardware to discusse)

    i have a sony clie thats rated a 33mhz

    i have over clocked it in the passed and through software and it ran a whole lot faster the funny thing was using software that cost money so i was useing a demo so it expired is the any other free software

    is the any os up dates for palm os 4.1 or 4.11 i dont know right now also is there a nother type of os that can work with palm devices (linux ,windows ce ect.) i dont really know



    is the some software that halp me use the pda for more i use it to keep my skeedule and games and other websites via plucker a off line web browser

    I know you cant use PPC 2Kx on palm. My ipaq is at 472mhz atm :)

    What do you mean "software to make it do more" exactly?

    scew me im sorry this thread is not sposed to be about me it sposed to be about every one who has a pda yeah my pda can play some games and do a little but is there a easy way to get the thing on the internet with out buying a network adapter like it going through the pc

    There are no other operating systems that work in palm devices - the OS 4.x device CANNOT run OS 5.x, the hardware is way different.

    OK SO KNOW IT WONT RUN palm os 5 i loaded it on their and i rebooted it all it did was blink but any way how much is a infared port for a computer and is their a website

    Depends if your mobo has the headers or not. Also infrared isnt going to be the best way to go if you want to browse the net on your PDA, as you will have to be very close to your puter and have no obstrucions between pda and puter. (Also, considered using any of the punctuation keys on your kb?)

    as far as im conserned about the internet it can go through the docking cable i did see a program and a tutorial but i still could not get it to work
