Not quite sure where to put this, doesn't quite fit in the software forum. So i have 2,500 pdf files which i need to watermark with either a picture or text. They are all sorted in folders and I need them to be replaced, or output in a new folder but with the same structure. Ive looked at some programs but havent been able to find anything that works with folders. Anybody have any suggestions? Preferably a free/opensource program. Cheers!
I don't know about 3rd party software, but the best solution I can find using Acrobat pro is to merge them all into one enormous document and watermark it. Not ideal, but if you're sending it out, might be worth it. Batch open doesn't really seem to be well implemented in the version I have. Course, there might be a better one now, I'm using 7.0...
Well i ended up finding a program that does the job, its called A-PDF Watermark. Now its time to find a way to get rid of the "your not using a registered version" watermark. Thanks for your time !
If you can't manage that (e.g., by registering, I bet it's fairly expensive), I've found a freeware PDF watermarker too. Not officially supported on Vista, and seems to have stopped being updated a while back, but it can't be all bad Edit: I'm not sure CoolPDF Watermarker supports multi-file watermarking (batches).
Oh. Well that's refreshing of them to not charge you into the ground Edit: Wait... did you mean 27$ or 27c? I read it as 27c. If it's 27$ that's worth thinking about a bit more.
