Does it have the 4 mounting holes around the CPU socket?
If so then yes you can add a DD block Plus TEC.
If it doesn't have the holes and just the clips then you can still add a DD block but im now sure about using a tec with the SHD system.

Then no TEC for you, my friend.

At least, I dont think. I seriously doubt that the SHD is height adjustable. Looking at pics of it, it's not. There is not enough room to cram a pelt and cold plate and screws between the top of it and the block.

your dead right there, the SHD[socket hold down] wont allow the use of a pelt due to the lack of room. You will need ot buy a new board or just don't use a pelt i doubt you need it and im sure your not gonna volt mod your board so taht you can clock your CPU to the extreme if you are then your using the wronge motherboard anyway.

I bought that damn board this morning :blah:

Ohhhwell...I guess I'll screw the pelt....

Will a Eheim 1048 pump be OK running one block? (just making sure..)

Also, what do you think about the HW Labs Micro2 rad? (2X 80mm), [edit] or will a HW LABS Micro suffice?
    I will be cooling only a AMD[/edit]

    Cheers,

    Why not return the board?

80mm radiators are very poor. 120mm ones are much, much more powerful. A single 120mm one will easily out-cool a 80mm one.

The eheim 1048 will cut it, but for the price you can get a Hydor L20 (I think you can even get the L30 for less than the eheim 1048. The L30 is on par with the 1250, but half the size).

Why should I do that, It aint worth it...I like my Gainward nForce board.

I wan't to stick the radiator in front of a Chieftec Matrix midi-tower case, so I wan't a small pump, and a small rad.

Will a HW Labs Black Ice Pro (1X 120mm fan) fit in front? (maybe without throwing out one of the HDD racks, the blowhole is an easy one.

    Cheers,
    Mike
