dom_ probably thinks that he is one of the funniest things to ever walk this earth... He's not.

I would never have posted here without using google in the first place, maybe instead of putting in the generic "search google" post you could have considered that google didn't bring up very much useful info?

Pen plotters seem to be pretty old and outdated these days, inkjet is all the rage...

I really just wanted someone who has experience with one to post, instead I got some smart asses.... Oh well.

Well in your first post, you made it sound like you needed/wanted to buy one, but couldn't find one to buy and so needed someone's help; all we did was suggest the quickest way to find out about pretty much anything these days...

Krikkit, I know, I'm sorry. I just had already looked all over google with not much luck, and then I get here to see if anyone can help and they tell me to do what I've done already...

Making one is not an option, I don't have a degree in electronics engineering. But thanks.

    ladies ladies, handbags down please!

plotters are great fun, only print in 4 colours tho for the older ones.
unless you are doing plans etc there's no real point

Pen plotters, havn't seen one in years.

Back in about 1989 when I was a trainee draughtsman, the company I worked for ran two or three of those beasts, only usefull for building or circuit plans.
We would create the drawings on AutoCAD 10 and then send the file to the plotter.

Very expensive to buy back in the day, and the pens needed refilling all the time.

He has been here for years if you check his join date, not posting alot isnt the same as not being part of a forum. I would hope a bad attitude would be treated equaly regardless of post count.

I'm not going to make one, end of story.

I appologized for being hostile already, and I've been here for two years, and have less than 100 posts, so I shouldn't be opinionated?

I only want one to play with, just for fun, doesn't matter how many colors, one is even fine.

I didn't check the join date. Usually people with attitudes like this are banned within a few posts.

    Attitude like this.

Let's see, I called some people smart asses, and was a smart ass myself...

    Big deal.

    Life goes on...
