Tonight I'm building two computers for Christmas.

One is for my little brothers and looks like this so far:
    Gigabyte G41M-ES2L
    2 Gigs OCZ 800mhz ram
x1600 pro 512 edition (they aren't gamers so this works fine)

I'm getting one that looks like this:
    XFX 750i SLI
    4 Gigs Corsair Dominator 800mhz
    8800GTS 512mb

My question is what cpu is more powerful. Looking around its hard to find decent benchmarks for economy processors.

    Thanks alot!

I would imagine the e5200 is a far faster cpu.

What these guys have said ^.

It's a much newer architecture, not to mention that most clock like mofo's. Good times. :D

A 45nm e5300 can be had for £47. Its a steal when it can hit 4GHz+ with the right board.
