Chinese overclocker dfordog had the new Pentium Anniversary Edition (AKA G3258 or Pentium K) on the workbench pushed it on a Z97 MPOWER MAX to a world record frequency of 6862 MHz! Very impressive for a £50 CPU. http://hwbot.org/submission/2560393_dfordog_cpu_frequency_pentium_g3258_6861.7_mhz
Woah... 6.8Ghz?! I'm liking the sound of these chips! By my logic, they should be able to do around 5Ghz on a simple water loop!
