"High up above, aliens hover Making home movies for their folks back home Of all these weird creatures who lock up their spirits Drill holes in themselves and live for their secrets."
Actually I cant dance, but I've thought that that may be the reason and I doubt it is. Its just really people doing that slow dance BS and just the less faster dancing in general. I cant really say I know what it is, but I know its not because I cant dance. I think its people having fun, that really ticks me off. If I cant have fun and all these people around me are parading, that would probably piss me off too. I dont really care about fast-moving high paced dancing, because I find its the coolest kind. and, yea, it was pretty useless to make this /spam
Ditto I hate dancing but the only times i tend to dance is when im completly smashed and i mean completly it takes alot to get me dancing[alot plus a girl] Women tend to want to dance, so you have ablidge i just can't dance nore do i like doing it :S strange huh. Mainly im with the whole I hate dancing thing morgan.
Dancing, either classic or improvised / typical disco is teh Ro><orz !!!! There's nothing more fun than haveing all those "cool" people that just stand around watch you in envy of you & your girl being ale to dance real good and have the fun of your lifetime each time Cheers Fred
Dancing, not something I enjoy, but sometimes on a night out you have to dance....having a few drinks can help in that it'll help you overcome any self consciousness about danving, but be careful, because if you end up totally bladdered you're dancing will be incredibly stupid (as witnessed by the bloke I saw last night, now that was comedy gold )
mmmmmmm, ska. anyway, i can't dance either. when i do try, someone gets hurt (usually my partner, but when they tried to teach us square dancing at fish camp, i took out 5 people at once. booyah!). slow dancing (very slow... okay, shuffling) is ok though. good excuse to press up against ones partner .
fish camp takes place at Texas A&M University, as a means of indoctrinating the freshmen into the aggie way of life. similar to brainwashing, they move the people to the middle of nowhere, sever any contact with family and friends, and force feed them aggie dogam (aka "tradition") until it's going in their ears and out their mouths. one learns all the yells (there are no cheers, only yells. no cheerleaders, only yell leaders - all guys), songs and anthems, and the rules. you only associate with those in your group, who are expected to be your friends for your tenure at A&M, if not the rest of your life.
monkeyboy don't tell me you're an Aggie! EDIT: NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!11ONETWO [i'm a longhorn] An Aggie from Austin, crazy!
no, not an aggie. spent a miserable year there. had textbooks stolen, got burned during bonfire, and had a roomie who would sit in his boxers and socks, playing madden 94, drinking beer, and scratching a personal itch, with the door open, shouting "b**** gave me a rash!" at anyone walking by. i shoulda gone to UT....
I love to dance. I get rather tense when I'm out somewhere with music and I'm unable to dance. Punk/Ska is definitely the best for dancing IMO. A little R&B is quite good too. With a partner is better fun, also...
Perhaps it is the kind of dancing that is the problem. My friends drag me to clubs in the UK, but its all rnb and garage and house and stuff. I HATE that music. All of it. No exceptions. No soul. No feeling. My opinion. I dislike the way the girls gyrate and wiggle. I mean, it is aesthetically pleasing, but I know it is just a lame come-on for men, who they will ultimately (and probably cruelly) reject. BUT....take me to the moshpit and I am there 100%. I love to mosh. Jumping about, flailing arms and legs, just losing yoursef in the crowd and the energy, that is totally for me. Coming out sweaty and exhausted, finding your mates and getting funny looks on the train home. Counting the bruises and injuries the next day. That, to me, is a great nite out. Perhaps you just havent found your niche yet.
Not in my experience I don't dance for men, I dance because after a few pints what I really want to do is throw myself very ungracefully across a dance floor with my girlie mates, with plenty of loud cheesy music in the background. I know I'm rubbish, but I don't do it to look alluring, I do it becuase it's fun. It's nice when guys make the effort to dance. It doesn't matter how uncoordinated you are, it beats standing in a corner looking miserable any day IMO.
Good for you. In my experience, girls are cruel and hypocritical creatures with no care for a male's feelings whilst being hyper-sensitive about the felings of their "friends" to their face, whilst simultaneously denouncing everything about them to their other "friends" when the subject in question is not around. I do not get on well with females.
i only dance when im really really really trollied, and even then i wouldnt call it dancing, more like wibbling my flab to the music
Nobody gets on well with that kind of female. I don't know why I'm bothering to even say it, but not all women are like that ya know...
I know what you mean, having to stick up for the girls gets annoying. No we're not all like that, yes it is just a minority blah blah blah. But back to dancing. I love to dance, I'll dance to anything, I dance round the house and have no problem dancing in public. I think you should always dance like there's nobody watching regardless of where you are, there's nothing worse that a half hearted self conscious shuffle. And fg0d, if people dancing annoys you that much then don't go to dances.
