    I'm with dad... The crystal pepsi, New coke, Crap like that...

    I personally drink Diet Mountain dew, but i prefer diet coke to diet pepsi, (diet because I am diabetic, not fat)

    I think all colas suck. Drink Beer

    I didn't say I drink beer (although the occasional one is alright)

    I just said drink beer.


    And beer, in small quantities is not bad for diabetes, but overindulgence can become a problem, as the body has to work hard to process the alcohol... My blood sugar is usually a few points higher the day after a night of drinking one too many, but no where neer as high as it is if I down a "sugar pop"

    Pepsi Max is the best but i can't drink it any way cos it gives me an upset stomach, so does orange juice and coffee :( Only just started getting this and it is so depressing.

    Dunno if you have the equlivant over there, but you could try taking a zantac or something like that (ant acid). I have a similar problem, I can't drink much soda/juice unless I have my stomach acid under control...

    Tums works for the occational pangs, but it takes too many of them to prevent it all the time :grr:

    Id have to say im partial to both :)

    Strnage tho i cant drink Coca-cola because its too sweet, only diet coke. But i like the taste of original pepsi

    that would be because they taste the same.

    coke has more of a bite to it.

    ODOT (Oregon Department of Transportation) carries a gallon of the stuff on each accident responce vehicle to clean the blood off roadways after accidents, nuff said :eeek:

    Want to get a toilet real clean, dump a can of Coke in there, let sit for a half hour, then flush. Imagine what the stuff does to your stomach!! :worried:

    what do you expect? one of the ingredients is phosphoric acid. your stomach is protected from acid, the crap in your toilet bowl isnt.

    if that happened to me beer would be the only thing worth living for!!

    I'd also suspect that the acids in one's stomach are more concentrated than coke Yo-DUH

    after all - i do drink classic, cherry, vanilla and doctor pepper.
